At OA-North View, governance is a collaborative effort involving multiple stakeholders. Olive Academies Independent Schools Board has distinct responsibilities that contribute to the overall success and integrity of our schools.
The Olive Academies Independent Schools Board is the Proprietary Body and is accountable for ensuring the school meets the Independent School Standards.
OAISB must ensure the school meets all eight parts of the standards:
- Quality of education
- Spiritual, moral, social, and cultural development of pupils
- Welfare, health, and safety of pupils
- Suitability of staff and proprietors
- Premises and accommodation
- Provision of information
- Handling of complaints
- Leadership and management

The OAISB focuses on:

- Budget Approval and Monitoring: Reviewing and approving the annual budget, and regularly monitoring financial performance to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
- Financial Reporting: Ensuring the preparation and review of accurate financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensuring adherence to financial regulations and standards, and implementing strategies to mitigate financial risks.
- Resource Allocation: Overseeing the efficient and effective use of financial resources to support the school's educational objectives.
- Audit and Accountability: Commissioning regular audits to ensure transparency and accountability in financial management.
Through these responsibilities, the OAISB ensures the school remains financially stable and capable of delivering high-quality education.
Annual accounts will be published following completion of the organisation's first full financial year and approval of the audited financial statements
